After a generous sponsorship from Kindred, Middlesbrough FC’s main partner, the Middlesbrough Foundation will be spotlighted as the team’s front-of-shirt sponsor on Saturday, November 30.

This initiative will showcase the charity’s emblem on the men’s first-team shirts during their Championship clash with Hull City.

Normally, the shirts bear the logo of gambling company Unibet, along with Kindred’s responsible gambling slogan “Zero% Mission.”

Sam Mead, the UK General Manager at Kindred, shared his thoughts: “Our partnership with Middlesbrough FC and their Foundation runs deep and true, and we’re incredibly proud of the Foundation’s remarkable efforts in the North-East.

“Thus, we are thrilled to allocate our standard front-of-shirt space to the Foundation for this weekend’s game versus Hull City. In keeping with the essence of this weekend, we encourage supporters to explore the MFC’s outreach programs, especially if they feel they’d benefit from the initiatives available.”

The Foundation is committed to raising ambitions and broadening opportunities for youth and adults throughout Teesside, with support and funding from the club’s business partners, including Kindred Group.

This gesture by Kindred is part of the club’s ‘Foundation Weekend,’ purposed to highlight the Foundation’s significant contributions to the local community and to promote awareness of the services and projects available to reside.

In September, Middlesbrough expanded its partnership with the online gaming company for another two years, building on their collaboration, which started back in 2018.

Through this extended agreement, Kindred pledged its support to Middlesbrough’s community efforts, particularly focusing on the Middlesbrough Foundation’s men’s mental health initiative, Team Talk. This program uses the influence of the club’s players, manager, and staff to facilitate conversations about mental health among men.

Another notable project from the Foundation is Think With Your Feet, which aims to unite local men through football while offering a supportive environment to discuss mental health issues.

Kindred played a direct role in supporting Think With Your Feet by producing a video featuring Middlesbrough player Isaiah Jones, who engaged in an open discussion about mental health with participants of the program.

For further information, Mead advised supporters to visit the Middlesbrough Foundation’s website at mfcfoundation.co.uk.
