Kazakh blogger Illyar Yuvashev, who is better known online as “Illyarchik” or “andersonchik”, was recently placed on an International wanted list by the Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM) of Kazakhstan for his connections to Mellstroy’s illegal online casino, as reported by ORDA.
Authorities suspect that between 2024 and 2025, he participated in the creation and management of an illegal online casino network, the Mellstroy.game website, with 22 shell companies, POS terminals, and electronic payment systems used to launder financial flows and hide the transactions.
It’s believed that more than $8 million was processed from players during the illegal operations.
As a result, the AFM has asked anyone with relevant information about Yuvashev’s whereabouts to come forward and contact the duty unit, ensuring that anonymity will be kept and a financial reward will be guaranteed.
At the same time, the investigation into Belarusian citizen Andrey Burim, widely known as Mellstroy, also continues. Mellstroy is known as a “trash streamer” who promoted online casinos by organizing contests and challenges on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms. Burim has been placed on an international wanted list as well.
The AFM has stressed that the operation of illegal online casinos causes huge social and economic damage by luring citizens, including minors, into gambling. As the investigators stated, this contributes to the rise of gambling addiction, loss of income, and funding of offshore platforms.
