Kaizen Gaming chief people officer (CPO) Stella Voulgaraki is set to the depart the operator after more than three years of service.
Voulgaraki joined the Betano parent company in March 2022, arriving from IT solutions firm INTRASOFT where she also served as CPO.
The exec played a key role in expanding the workforce at the Athens-based business, with Kaizen Gaming now boasting more than 2,700 employees over four continents.
The operator had more than 1,000 job openings last year, as it continues to work towards its ‘2626’ vision by being live in 26 markets by 2026.
Posting on LinkedIn, Voulgaraki wrote: “I have been a strong believer throughout my career that building a solid HR foundation is essential to enabling business strategy and sustainable growth.
“At Kaizen, I was trusted to bring this to life – and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity. I am truly thankful to [CEO] George Daskalakis, whose vision, authenticity and trust, allowed me to contribute meaningfully to Kaizen Gaming’s international expansion and success.
“Together with an extraordinary HR team and so many talented Kaizeners, we built a global people function from the ground up – scaling with heart, navigating complexity and always keeping our people at the centre.
“We grew, we challenged ourselves, we adapted and we delivered. Thank you Kaizen Gaming for making this journey so rich and meaningful. It has been a transformative chapter, and I leave filled with gratitude.”
Earlier this month, Daskalakis announced he would be stepping down as CEO of Stoiximan, the Greece- and Cyprus-facing brand he co-founded in 2012.
Kaizen Gaming had been running the brand on a B2B basis after OPAP had previously assumed a majority ownership.
Daskalakis will be replaced by Stoiximan managing director Nikos Fligos.
