The Junior Sports Trader will be responsible for pricing events, risk management, bet settlement and analysis. You will be someone who has a strong passion for sports and a good knowledge of Sports Betting (if you have experience in a trading room that would be advantageous). You will execute trading independently and follow risk management strategy guidelines and techniques for multiple sports and betting environments. You will conduct basic statistical analyses, interpret results, and present findings with actionable insights to senior team members. You will ensure payout and sales targets are met for multiple projects and take ownership of KPIs within your scope. You will monitor prices and report liabilities above thresholds and be responsible for flagging any inconsistencies. You will effectively profile the customer base, identify potential patterns, and refer customers with suspicious betting activity to Senior Traders and the Risk Team. You will also be responsible for creating special/PR/novelty markets based on targets set by management and for the settlement of results for multiple sport events, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies as they arise.

University Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, deep understanding and familiarity with the sports betting business, strong mathematical and analytical skills, great attention to detail, confident decision-making under pressure, computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of MS Office, very good written and verbal communication skills in English, strong awareness of the sporting calendar, ability to work flexible hours.
