Software Development Team Leader, Trading & Tools

As a Software Development Team Leader, you will guide and support a talented team of developers, driving innovation and delivering impactful software solutions that shape our future. The trading and tools team provide scalable enterprise solutions that enable trading operations to present fixtures across all sports, ensuring this information is fresh and relevant when the action starts by processing millions of events each day. In this role, you will build and lead a diverse team of Software Developers, measuring quality and delivery while driving continuous improvements. Our tech stack includes C#, Golang, Kafka and SQL, and you will maintain a solid technical understanding of our systems, remaining close to the solutions being developed. Your focus will be on people, processes, and governance in a fast-paced, challenging environment. We are looking for passionate individuals with a broad range of technical skills, ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges.

Passion for software development and creating efficient processes and best practice. Self-motivation with a strong drive to succeed. Capable of handling large workloads with rapid context switching. Strong appreciation of knowledge sharing and mentoring. Knowledge in at least one of the backend languages, or any of the following areas, .Net, MS SQL, Golang and GCP. Knowledge of version control and code repositories. Awareness of Microservices and distributed system architectures. Expertise in managing multiple delivery streams simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in a related field, or relevant professional experience.
