Senior Training Officer

As a Senior Training Officer, you will help shape the capabilities of our professional services teams, acting as a trusted learning and development partner to deliver impactful training. This 12-month fixed-term contract includes an initial three-month training period in Stoke-on-Trent, after which you will play a crucial part in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our Manchester-based Technology, Marketing, and Recruitment teams. Reporting to the Training Delivery Manager, your core responsibility will be to turn business requirements into tailored learning solutions that enhance the specific skills of our colleagues. Additionally, a major part of the role involves delivering content within a classroom setting, such as our comprehensive range of courses on personal effectiveness and Management Development. You will utilise your expertise in evaluation to recommend further course developments and improvements. You will have experience of working collaboratively with managers, understanding their unique challenges, and successfully implementing effective learning and development initiatives.

Track record of fostering personal and interpersonal development within diverse teams. Expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful management and leadership development programmes from start to finish. Ability to present verbally and non-verbally through a variety of formats. Committed to nurturing and developing the potential of others. A natural ability to inspire and motivate both oneself and team members. Demonstrable experience of influencing at a senior level. Proven experience in working autonomously and managing competing priorities effectively.
