Senior SMSF Accountant

Stake is looking for a Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team on a remote basis in Gujarat, India. In this role, you will work closely with our Team Lead and India SMSF Lead, responsible for preparing the annual financial statements and tax returns for a rapidly growing portfolio of SMSF customers. You will leverage your SMSF industry expertise to guide our dedicated customer success team and deliver an outstanding experience to Stake’s customers. You will also have the opportunity to onboard new SMSF customers and assist Stake with further growth. We’re looking for an Accountant with 4-6 years experience in SMSF administration, a passion for Self-Managed Super Funds, and the willingness to make your mark in the industry. Qualifications such as a Masters of Commerce, MBA, or CA are preferable. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to liaise with Stake’s customers and internal stakeholders are essential. You should have exposure to Class accounting software, experience in reconciling EOFY accounts, preparing annual returns, preparing EOFY workpapers, lodging activity statements, and corresponding with customers regarding the finalization of their EOFY accounts. You will also work with Stake’s audit panels to facilitate an independent SMSF audit and liaise with onshore accountants where applicable to follow up matters with regulators. 4-6 years experience in SMSF administration, passion for Self-Managed Super Funds, Masters of Commerce or MBA or CA qualifications (preferable), excellent communication skills, exposure to Class accounting software, experience in reconciling EOFY accounts, experience in preparing annual returns, preparing EOFY workpapers, lodge activity statements, correspond with customers regarding EOFY accounts, work with Stake’s audit panels, liaise with onshore accountants.
