Senior Maintenance Operative

As a Senior Maintenance Operative, you will work as part of a team to maintain our premises on both a reactive and planned basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities by carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across our premises. This is a hands-on role where you'll be making sure our outdoor environment is always at its best for our colleagues and visitors. Undertaking minor repairs and general maintenance tasks to ensure all facilities are in good working order. Assisting with ad-hoc maintenance requests and supporting the Facilities team as required. Chaperoning visitors, acting as a point of contact, guiding them, and ensuring they have a positive and professional experience. Managing and disposing of all waste efficiently, adhering to recycling policies and ensuring a tidy environment. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facilities.

Previous experience in a similar cleaning, maintenance, or facilities role would be advantageous. Experience with specialised access equipment such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers, or telehandlers is preferred. Proactive and reliable approach to your work. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively. Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and visitors. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards. Possession of a full UK driving licence is preferred.
