Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Cloudflare. Your responsibilities will include building CI/CD pipelines for safe, zero-downtime production deployments, improving monitoring and alerting to speed up incident response and recovery, and managing all environments using modular, version-controlled Terraform (IaC). You will drive cost optimization, security hardening, and performance tuning while collaborating with engineering and product teams to align technology with business goals. Additionally, you will provide technical direction and contribute to major architectural decisions.

5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production AWS infrastructure. AWS Professional certification (Architect or DevOps) or equivalent expertise. Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems at scale. Strong Linux systems administration and advanced Bash scripting skills. Deep knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and best practices. Proven experience with Terraform modules, state management, and CI workflows. Experience with observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki. Proficiency in Python or Node.js and experience tuning Nginx performance. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis. Hands-on experience running containerized workloads on AWS ECS and Docker.
