Senior Devops Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in streamlining our development processes, ensuring smooth deployments, and maintaining the resilience and security of our infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, implementing cutting-edge solutions to optimise software development lifecycles and ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of our platforms. This role demands a high level of technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerization, as well as an ability to quickly resolve complex issues under pressure. You will be responsible for overseeing global cloud infrastructure, implementing scalable CI/CD pipelines, and managing Kubernetes clusters, among other key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS technologies and experience in automating infrastructure to maintain agility in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities include CI/CD Pipeline Implementation, Container Orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Incident Management & Troubleshooting, Automation & Scripting, Cloud Infrastructure Management, UAT Environment Management, Monitoring & Maintenance, and On-call Support.

Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerised environments. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, and Nexus. Proficient in using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources. Strong experience with AWS and native services, particularly EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, and Transit Gateways. Extensive knowledge of containerisation (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). Solid understanding of database systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
