Senior Automation QA Engineer (Python)

EveryMatrix is looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Automation QA Engineer (Python) to join our team in Lviv! In this role, you will understand and discuss business requirements with the Team Leader, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for the entire testing activity, from building the test framework to test execution, and from gap analysis of existing solutions to extending them according to project requirements. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts for both Functional and Non-Functional scenarios, creating and maintaining Regression Test suites, and defining an automation strategy for Web Applications, primarily on the Back End. You will take ownership of the design and development of all aspects of automated testing, including the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated tests using scripts and automation tools. Additionally, you will document and report bugs following company guidelines and provide regular reports on progress and current activities. A key aspect of this role is the ability to understand complex technical architecture.

3-5 years’ experience in Automation testing (Backend side) on Python, Pytest. Experience in working closely with the development team during testing activities. Familiarity with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking tools, preferably TestRail and Jira. Knowledge of REST web services & API testing tools. Experience with CI tools, preferably GitLab-CI. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar. Fluent in English. Nice to have skills include understanding application flow from various perspectives, experience with relational DBs (preferably PostgreSQL), load testing experience (preferably with Locust), and knowledge of Agile practices.
