Javascript Technical Lead

As a Javascript Technical Lead at Eeze Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in developing and coordinating the development of cross-browser web applications for the gaming industry. Using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Redux, Vite, Zustand you will contribute to our modular front-end architecture while leading a team of talented developers. This role is suited for a seasoned engineer with proven leadership experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to make autonomous decisions that shape our product and platform. Key Responsibilities include contributing to technology strategies, roadmaps, and reviews, providing innovative solutions and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and toolsets. You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of front-end developers through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and goal-setting, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ownership. Additionally, you will develop functional, rich front-end applications using React and TypeScript for our in-house or client gaming products, collaborate with product management, back-end, DevOps, and QA to align technical strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements, and create and maintain documentation while implementing best coding practices and adhering to standards.

6+ years of hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript development, including 3+ years leading technical teams or projects. Deep understanding of front-end architecture: monorepos, module federation, dynamic configuration, and micro-frontends. Strong foundation in software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI) and functional programming paradigms. Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, ESBuild), and CSS-in-JS or utility-first styling (Tailwind/SCSS). Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of version control systems and tooling, such as Git and Gitlab. Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience with gaming products is a plus. Experience working with in-house frontend libraries built on private npm registries is a plus. Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSockets, SSE), binary protocols, and video-stream synchronization is a plus.
