As a Java Developer at Eeze Romania, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development of our live casino games from concept to delivery. This position is perfect for those with a startup mindset, the ability to work independently, take initiative, and make their own decisions. Main Responsibilities include designing and developing live casino games using Java and the Spring framework, ensuring high performance and quality standards. You will create scalable and maintainable microservices architecture for game components, deploy and manage game services on Kubernetes clusters, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring high availability. Utilizing cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to build, deploy, and scale game services is essential. You will implement real-time communication protocols (e.g., WebSockets) for interactive gaming experiences and develop and manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for game data storage and retrieval. Implementing security best practices to safeguard player data and maintain the integrity of the games is crucial. You will write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure the reliability and performance of the game code. Setting up monitoring tools and logging to proactively identify and resolve issues in a live production environment is also part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including game designers, artists, and QA testers, will ensure a smooth development process. Lastly, maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and deployment procedures is expected.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a focus on backend development. Strong expertise in Java, Spring framework, and microservices architecture. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies. Knowledge of real-time communication protocols and technologies (e.g., WebSockets). Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases). Understanding of security best practices in software development. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
