Head of Finance

An incredible opportunity to build and lead the finance team for a rapidly growing crypto-casino in Malta with massive exponential growth potential. Your mission includes leading the establishment and growth of a finance department by developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and building and mentoring a team. You will identify and mitigate financial risks and establish comprehensive risk management policies and procedures. Additionally, you will take charge of budgeting and forecasting processes, actively monitoring financial performance. Overseeing the preparation of financial reports is crucial, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards. You will ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements, staying updated on changes and adapting policies accordingly. Providing strategic leadership and mentorship to the existing finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment is essential. You will offer strategic advice to the executive team, highlighting financial implications and contributing to informed decision-making. Fostering cross-functional collaboration by working closely with other departments to understand their financial needs and cultivating positive relationships with external partners, including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions, is also part of your role.

Proven senior financial management experience in the iGaming industry. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification, with eligibility to sign financial statements in Malta. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, providing valuable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. Interest in crypto (this is a must). Bonus points: Proven track record managing the full suite of crypto transactions, including crypto swaps, FX, and treasury flows, with practical experience operating and controlling non-custodial wallets.
