Executive Steward

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising the day-to-day stewarding operations by managing shifts and ensuring all assigned tasks are done. Inspects quality of work and cleanliness of the kitchen(s) or other food preparation areas. Responsible for inventorycontrol of kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations. Contributes to the continued improvement of processes and procedures. Leads and develops stewarding department teammates.

Qualifications:
• Preferred three years of steward of kitchen or steward or related janitorial experience with one year in multi-unit and one year in and two years in supervision, a working knowledge of sanitation requirements.
• Able and willing to read, write speak and understand English.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of sanitation management.
• Knowledge of P & L statements and budget.
• Must be computer literate.
