Job Description

Are you a meticulous compliance professional with a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a passion for ensuring robust compliance frameworks while enabling responsible business growth? Do you thrive on solving complex problems, fostering strong internal partnerships, and bridging the gap between compliance obligations and business opportunity? If so, LeoVegas Group wants you. LeoVegas is a leading GameTech group at the cutting edge of mobile gaming innovation, operating globally through powerful brands like LeoVegas and BetMGM. Since being acquired by MGM Resorts International in 2022, we’ve been on a steep trajectory of transformation and expansion – and we’re continually strengthening our compliance capabilities to match. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening our compliance standards by conducting wide-reaching assurance activities. You will be a vital resource, providing quality assurance and guidance across the Group, working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders to foster a robust culture of compliance. As a Compliance Assurance Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our compliance effectiveness across the Group, working in close collaboration with the Compliance Assurance Manager. You will be a core contributor to the Compliance Assurance function, executing vital assurance exercises and providing critical insights that contribute to identifying systemic themes and strengthening overall compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive Compliance Assurance reviews across the wider Group, covering key pillars such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Responsible Gaming (RG), and Marketing. You will prepare detailed reports following assurance reviews, including the development and execution of robust action plans, presenting findings to relevant management as required. You will collaborate closely with operational teams throughout assurance exercises and in the implementation of corrective actions. You will contribute significantly to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Group's Compliance Assurance program, working closely with the Compliance Assurance Manager to perform in-depth reviews (website reviews, procedure reviews, account reviews, and other methods as required). You will assist the Compliance Assurance Manager in prioritizing and planning assurance exercises. You will proactively identify and communicate prevalent compliance issues and trends observed during your reviews, contributing to the identification of systemic themes for Group-wide solutions. You will work in close partnership with the wider Compliance team to uphold standards and embed a strong culture of compliance across the business. You will foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with other critical functions within the broader compliance framework such as Operations, Legal, Technical Compliance, AML Governance, and Internal Audit. You will assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives to continuously improve and evolve our compliance strategy and processes.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a compliance role, operations role (Responsible Gaming and/or AML roles), or assurance role within a regulated industry (iGaming experience is highly advantageous), coupled with a demonstrated aptitude and keen interest in compliance and assurance. A comprehensive understanding of key compliance domains, including AML, Responsible Gaming, Marketing, and the broader regulatory frameworks relevant to the iGaming sector. A proven ability to conduct thorough reviews, meticulously analyse complex information, and produce clear, actionable reports that drive effective solutions. Demonstrated experience working effectively and collaboratively with operational and cross-functional teams across the business. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and coherent manner. Strong organisational skills, enabling you to effectively manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver results in our fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, resilience under pressure, and a team player.
