ITV is set to expand into real-money gaming after selecting Richmond Atlantic to run its ITV Wins Bingo & Spins proposition.

In turn, Richmond Atlantic has tapped GiG Software to support on the launch, with a soft push to come before the end of 2026.

Bosses said next year would see the full rollout, as well as a TV ad campaign.

ITV Win currently offers free-to-play games and prize draw competitions.

Free-to-play content is branded, with ITV Win using ITV programmes including popular quiz shows The Chase and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

The platform’s prize draw competitions range from luxury holidays to sports cars and gift vouchers.

Richmond Atlantic has held a bingo licence from the Gambling Commission since 5 December this year, while it has held a casino licence since December 2024.

ITV, which is Britain’s largest free-to-air commercial broadcaster, is currently in talks to sell its television business to Sky in a £1.6bn deal.

ITV’s Media and Entertainment division, which includes the free-to-air TV channels and ITV X streaming service, is reportedly on the table.

ITV’s expansion into real-money gaming also comes against the backdrop of a significant hike in remote gaming duty from April 2026.

The Autumn Budget included a leap from 21% to 40% for remote gaming duty, which includes online slots.

Adam Joseph, Richmond Atlantic CEO, said: “The new ITV Win Bingo & Spins site is in the final stages of development, with a soft launch imminent. This will be followed by a full rollout in the New Year, including a major TV advertising campaign.

“This is a milestone moment for Richmond Atlantic and one that will redefine the igaming landscape in the UK following the expansion of ITV Win.

“The launch of ITV Win Bingo & Spins is going to be an exciting time, and we are incredibly proud to be the driving force behind bringing it to market and ensuring we have a safe and entertaining place for the customers we will drive.”

Richard Carter, GiG CEO, added: “Partnering with Richmond Atlantic to power ITV Win represents a major milestone for GiG in the UK.

“ITV is one of the most iconic brands in British entertainment, and supporting their entry into soft gaming underlines the strength, flexibility and trust in the GiG technology ecosystem.”
