An Indianapolis woman and her partner were on their way to a fall festival with her partner when she decided to check her lottery tickets. Doing so, she immediately realized that something important had happened – she had won a nearly $200,000 prize from the lottery, enough to help her cover car debt and mortgage.
Sharing the story with lottery officials, the winner’s partner was surprised when his girlfriend ordered him to stop the car. “I thought she wasn’t feeling well,” the man shared, but it turned out that she was fine – the woman had just won a massive amount from the lottery.
The woman played the $2 Max the Money Fast Play game, which she purchased at the Meijer in Carmel, leading to the massive win. She confirmed the win with the Hoosier Lottery app and has not lost any time securing the money afterwards.
The couple appeared at the lottery’s headquarters, scooping the money in person, with the $190,442 already earmarked for something specific. The woman confirmed that she would use the money to tackle her mortgage and also sort out other debt – her car loan.
The lottery prize for the $2 Max the Money Fast Play game has reset to $5,000 immediately after the win.
