IGT has announced the appointment of Jamie Knight as its new chief studios officer, in the latest shakeup of the supplier’s C-suite.
Knight takes on the role having previously served as senior vice-president of game studios at the company.
She will officially take up the position on 1 January 2027, replacing the retiring Jean Venneman.
Venneman had served as chief studios officer from July 2025, having first joined the firm as senior vice-president of studios for the US in November 2024.
Her career in the gaming industry spans 34 years, working for suppliers including High 5 Games, Scientific Games, Gaming Arts and Bally Technologies, as well as a previous spell with IGT in the early 90s.
Knight first joined IGT as vice-president of game studio in January 2025, following an almost two-year stint with Light & Wonder from November 2014 to January 2024.
She also served as a game producer at Bally’s Technologies between May 2011 and November 2014.
Regarding the promotion, Knight said: “I’m energised to lead our studio teams and build on the strong foundation in place.
“Together with our talented teams across IGT and Everi, we’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in game design, content strategy and math innovation to deliver world-class experiences on the floor.”
IGT CEO Hector Fernandez added: “Jean’s leadership created the foundation for this next phase of growth.
“She brought together talented teams, strengthened how our studios operate and raised the bar for creative and operational excellence. We are deeply grateful for everything she has contributed to our organisation and our industry.
“Jamie’s combination of creative instinct, studio leadership and focus on innovation in design and math will build on that momentum and unlock new possibilities across our combined studio organisation.”
Knight’s appointment represents the latest addition to IGT’s C-suite in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, the company announced the hiring of Adam Chibib as its new CFO, effective from 1 November.
Chibib is set to replace Fabio Celadon in the role, who will serve through to 31 October before remaining with the firm in an advisory capacity until the end of 2026.
