ICONIC21 CEO Anna Vikmane has stepped down from her role after the supplier rebranded from BETER Live last week.
She had served as CEO since April 2021, having initially joined BETER Live as head of live casino that February.
The former Playtech and GVC head confirmed she will move into the M&A sector as she steps away from frontline operations with ICONIC21.
The business said the transition would allow it to “deploy its own vision with a sharpened focus as it continues to strengthen its position”.
Vikmane confirmed that her replacement has already been sourced, although that name is yet to be made public.
The rebrand from BETER Live to ICONIC21 came after the brand separated itself from the wider BETER Group.
The live casino supplier will now operate as a standalone entity, with the company also having named Alina Mihaela Popa, the former Pragmatic Play head, as chief commercial officer earlier this year.
In April 2023, the supplier named BetGames exec Edvardas Sadovskis its new chief product officer.
Touching on her decision to step down, Vikmane said: “After leading BETER Live for more than three years, having grown the business from little more than an idea, to a multinational, thriving business, I now feel that it is time to start a new chapter.
“I joined this team when there were a mere handful of employees in Kyiv, and during my tenure at the head of this company, we have established great relationships with clients, built several studios and created an incredible, successful international team.”
She added: “I’m so proud of what we have achieved together, and I feel that now it is time for some new, additional energy to float in the company.
“It is very hard to leave a project which has been so close to my heart for so long, so I am truly excited that the next CEO to whom I am passing the reins has already built a close relationship with the existing team.
“The new C-suite will bring a new outlook and add a fresh point of view to help drive this company to the next level. I’m leaving them in safe hands.”
