Best Bet Hurricanes vs. Golden Knights: OVER 5.5 Goals (-130)
Vegas has won four straight playoff games at home, but we lean toward Carolina tying the series tonight. The stronger play is on the OVER, which has cashed easily in the first three games.
Carolina head coach Rod Brind’Amour hasn’t revealed his starting goaltender for tonight. Brandon Bussi replaced Freddie Andersen in Game 3, stopping 18 of 19 shots and only allowing a fluke goal. Expect Bussi to get his first career playoff start tonight, but both net minders could see action again.
Carter Hart has struggled somewhat for VGK, allowing four goals in all three games against Carolina. The Hurricanes will be desperate to get the split in Vegas, and Hart can expect to see 30+ shots again tonight.
These two teams have combined for 25 goals in the first three games, with the past two games decided in overtime. Expect another high-scoring affair in Game 4.

Taylor Hall OVER 0.5 Points (-110)
Taylor Hall has been one of the best stories in the NHL Playoffs. In fact, ABC/ESPN play-by-play announcer Sean McDonough told us during last week’s national teleconference that Hall is the best story not getting enough attention.
“Here’s a guy who’s 34, No. 1 overall pick, he’s been on seven different teams, has kind of had a lot of ups and downs in recent years,” McDonough said. “He was a fourth-line player at the start of this year as a former league MVP, Hart Trophy winner, accepted it gracefully, and worked his way up to now being on the line that’s been the best line in the playoffs. He’s their leading point scorer, Carolina’s, and he’s third in all the playoffs in points.”
Hall, who leads Carolina with 17 points in the postseason, found the back of the net in Game 3. We expect him to hit the score sheet again tonight. He also leads the Canes with 11 playoff assists.

Carter Hart OVER 26.5 Saves (-110)
We touched on this a bit, but it’s worth reiterating that CarolIna will unload everything it’s got shot-wise to try and draw even in this series. The Canes lead all playoff teams in shots with an average of 32.8 per game.
Carolina peppered Hart with 33 shots in Game 3, and he covered this number easily despite allowing four goals. This is our favorite player prop tonight.
