Hard Rock Casino NL has announced a significant shift in its leadership team, naming Cristiano Blanco as the new Chief Executive Officer.
With a wealth of experience spanning 17 years in the gambling sector, Blanco transitions from DAZN Bet, where he served as Chief Experience Officer.
His extensive career includes key roles at ComeOn Group, Kindred Group, and BetBright, holding titles such as Chief Product Officer, Group Head of Gaming, and Gaming Director. Blanco also contributed his expertise to 32Red and Betclic Group.
Commenting on his appointment, Blanco expressed enthusiasm for the new venture, stating, “Working with such a prestigious global brand is an exciting challenge.”
He further remarked on the alignment of Hard Rock Casino NL with his personal values and style, anticipating the chance to drive growth and maturity for the promising player in the Dutch market.
The operations of Hard Rock Casino NL in the Netherlands occur under a brand licensing agreement with iCasino BV, which holds the country’s online gambling license.
Paul Strikers, the former CEO of Hard Rock Casino NL, will remain with the organization, assuming roles as MLRO and Public Affairs Manager.

Earlier this year, Hard Rock Casino NL enhanced its online offerings in the Netherlands by forming content partnerships with Bragg Gaming Group and Stakelogic.
