Hacksaw Gaming’s shares have slumped by more than a quarter after a Q3 trading update revealed a growth slowdown at the supplier.

The Stockholm-listed firm’s shares are down 28% at the time of writing to SEK58.6 (£4.42).

Hacksaw had its IPO in the Swedish capital in the summer of 2025, with the stock hitting a 52-week high of SEK94 since October last year.

Revenue for the three months ending 30 September is expected to land between €57.5m (£48.6m) and €58.5m, indicating growth of 11% to 12% year on year (YoY)

Operating profit is forecast to hit between €48m and €49m, or a 14% to 16% YoY jump.

Hacksaw Gaming, which counts the likes of bet365, Mexico’s Caliente and William Hill as partners, described Q3 as “below the group’s historical growth pace”.

Comparatively, H1 2026 revenue jumped 29% YoY to €116.9m, with operating profit also leaping 29% to €95.9m.

In Q2 alone, revenue rose 31% YoY to €59.3m and operating profit also leapt 31% to €48.4m. During Q2, Hacksaw said it launched 17 in-house games, compared to 11 in Q2 2025.

Management noted the deceleration was due to “softer market conditions and game performance that was lower”.

“The nature of being in the content business means that Hacksaw’s performance will vary over different periods. However, the group’s long-term financial targets remain unchanged,” the company added.

The supplier, which recently expanded into the crash games sector, said it would continue to focus on its Hacksaw Venture VC arm and expand its RGS partnerships.

The business also confirmed it would focus on the “quality of its game production” and explore new verticals alongside the crash games expansion.

In August, interim CEO Ana Vrabic Verdir was handed the top job on a permanent basis.

She had been drafted into the job in April after the Hacksaw board relieved former CEO Christoffer Källberg of his duties.

Vrabic Verdir had previously been a board member since 2024. Källberg was CEO when Hacksaw went public last year.

Speaking on the Q3 performance, Vrabic Verdir said: “Growth in the third quarter of 2026 was more moderate than during our recent history.

“At the same time, we continue to expand our customer base through new signings and focus on extending our reach into additional markets with our existing customers.

“Our commercial momentum remains strong, and our development team is well positioned to continue delivering the quality content we are known for.”

Hacksaw is due to publish its full Q3 earnings on 3 November.
