Bragg Gaming Group has appointed Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) founder Thomas Winter as a new board member with immediate effect.

Winter replaces Kent Young who has retired from the board.

Young founded Spin Games, which was acquired by Bragg in 2022. He stepped up to the board in 2023.

GNOG was eventually sold to DraftKings in a $1.5bn deal in May 2022, having first been announced in August 2021.

Winter remained with the company and took up the role of North America general manager for igaming. He left the business in September 2023.

Since then, Winter was named as a board member at Rush Street Interactive in December 2024.

He also served as an adviser, board member and investor to Awager, which was sold to Aristocrat in November 2025.

Winter’s industry CV also includes spells as Betclic CEO and COO.

Holly Gagnon, Bragg chair, said: “I would like to thank Kent for his many contributions to the company.

“I am also very pleased to welcome Thomas to our team. Moving forward, the board and management team will be steadfast in our aim to close the clear and persistent gap between the company’s public market valuation and our assessment of its intrinsic value.

“To that end, as Thomas is a gaming industry luminary who has earned my deep personal admiration and great professional respect, I am confident he will be a tremendous asset to our board and to our shareholders.”

Alongside appointing Winter to the board, Bragg has published its Q4 and full-year 2025 results.

Full-year revenue was up 4% year on year (YoY) to €106.1m (£91.6m), while adjusted EBITDA increased from €15.8m to €16.6m. Net losses widened from €5.1m to €8.1m.

During Q4, the supplier appointed former Shape Games head Morten Tonnesen as its new COO and promoted Garrick Morris to executive vice-president of global content for North America.

Bragg is also planning to develop the “Bragg AI Brain”, which will see the business become an AI-first entity.

This includes ensuring an “AI-enhanced product becomes standard in over 90% of all launches and having more than three-quarters of Bragg’s operational workflows impacted by AI”.

Bragg recently cut 12% of its global workforce as part of its push towards embracing AI.
