Global Gaming Women (GGW) has named Light & Wonder gaming CEO Siobhan Lane as its new president and chair.
Lane will take on the role from 1 January on a two-year term. She replaces current GGW chief Lauren Bates.
Lane had been serving as GGW’s first vice-president, with former Caesars Entertainment exec Brandi Ellis moving into the role.
Other leadership changes at the non-profit organisation include The Venetian’s vice-president of people operations Adriana Kasunic being named second vice-president.
Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee vice-president of finance, Julie Woodruff, has also been appointed as board secretary.

Other execs on the board include Betting and Gaming council chief Grainne Hurst, Ainsworth CFO Lynn Mah and DraftKings corporate counsel Nicole Bartz Metral.
GGW has 7,000 active members and has helped support more than 650 educational scholarships.
The charitable body’s mission statement is to foster a “future of inclusiveness and diversity that benefits every individual in the industry”.
Incoming president Lane said: “GGW’s mission to support, inspire and influence the development of women in the gaming industry began thanks to its founders’ vision and commitment, which I am excited to champion in my role as president and chair.
“Outgoing GGW president Lauren Bates brought the organisation to new heights, and I extend my immense appreciation to her for positioning the organisation for continued success.”
Bates added: “Throughout her many years of service to the organisation, Siobhan’s ardent focus on education has significantly expanded GGW’s offerings and reach, which we will see continued in her leadership as president.
“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to GGW’s incredible members, sponsors, board members and volunteers for your dedicated commitment to the organisation over my term of service, during which we achieved more than 3,000 new members, launched 10 new programmes and held 17 live education events, which expanded into two new countries.”
