A month of statis in the Global/dotcom Slots Tracker as the top seven slots remained unchanged in August compared to July.
Pragmatic Play continued to lead at the top of the table, with Spribe’s Aviator and Play’n GO’s Book of Dead its closest challengers.
Pragmatic Play also had a new entrant in the ranking in the shape of The Dog House Megaways 1000 in 16th.
The studio’s John Hunter and the Book of the Fallen returned to the top 20, jumping to 19th from 22nd.
Pragmatic Play also had the biggest mover of the month as Sugar Rush climbed four places to 12th.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Football Bonanza was the highest ranked game in July (11th) to fall out of the top 20 in August.
The Global/dotcom Slots Tracker ranks slots appeared in August on more than 2,000 sites that hold licences from jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Malta and Anjouan. Full details of the methodology can be found below.
EGM tracks casino sites to help collate the monthly slots rankings. It analyses game pages of more than 3,800 casino sites globally, with ranking positions based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, Slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
For the August ranking, EGM tracked 35,280 games from 774 studios across more than 2,000 sites.
Operators holding licences from the following authorities were included in the ranking: Alderney, Anjouan, Antigua, the Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Cyprus, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Kahnawake, Malta, Panama, the Philippines and Tobique.
