Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) Software chief business officer Andrew Cochrane has announced his departure from the supplier.
Cochrane joined the company in November 2023, when it was known as GiG and comprised the sports betting supplier arm and since divested affiliate division, Gentoo Media.
That split occurred in September 2024, with the two businesses becoming separately listed entities.
Cochrane moved to GiG from DraftKings where he had served as senior vice-president of commercial.
He was working for the North American giant after a reverse SPAC merger with sports betting software supplier SBTech took the Boston-based business public.
Cochrane was chief business development officer for SBTech at the time of the merger.
In moving to GiG, Cochrane was reunited with fellow SBTech alumni Richard Carter, who was appointed CEO of GiG in September 2023.

Cochrane said: “After two compelling years, the time has come for me to move on from my role as chief business officer at GiG.
“When I joined, the mandate was clear: sharpen the commercial strategy, rebuild momentum in business development, expand into new regulated markets, secure tier-one partnerships and return the business to sustainable growth. I’m proud to say that together, we delivered on all of it.
“Over the past two years, Gaming Innovation Group has undergone a meaningful transformation, executing a focused B2B strategy, expanding into new markets, delivering a strong cadence of new launches, signing strategic long-term partners and driving material revenue growth through disciplined business development.
“The business today is fundamentally stronger, more focused and better positioned for its next phase of growth than when I joined.
“GiG has been an intense, rewarding and defining chapter. I leave proud of what we achieved together and confident in the company’s continued trajectory.
