Genius Sports has appointed former Disney executive Bryan Castellani as its new CFO with immediate effect.
Castellani will replace current finance chief Nick Taylor, who has held the post since October 2019.
Castellani joins the supplier from Warner Music Group, where he served as executive vice-president and CFO since October 2023.
The new finance chief is a Disney stalwart, having spent almost 30 years with the conglomerate across various roles.
He previously served as executive vice-president and CFO for Disney Entertainment and ESPN, as well as working across Japan, ABC and Disney’s retail stores in other positions.
Castellani will oversee the New York-listed firm’s global financial operations, as well as supporting the business’ M&A and partnership aspirations.
He will be based out of Genius Sports’ New York office.
Taylor will remain with the company as part of a transition process to ensure a “smooth and seamless handover”.

Mark Locke, Genius Sports CEO, said the appointment had come at a “pivotal moment” for the supplier.
