Game Lounge has appointed Vlad Jankovic as its chief strategy and transformation officer, after a period of as a consultant for the affiliate.
The newly created role at Game Lounge will see Jankovic tasked with leading the firm’s transition from a “volume-based publisher” to a “technology-led data and media platform”. He will report directly to CEO Richard Dennys.
Prior to consulting, Jankovic spent just over three years as COO at Habari Media, a South African-based print and digital media house, between January 2022 and March 2025.
From December 2021 to June 2024, he worked as managing director of South Africa-based marketing and social buying platform, Daddy’s Deals.
Prior to a two-year stay as the KPMG’s associate director, Jankovic spent a decade at Vodafone between 2008 and March 2018 – working his way up from finance planning and decision support executive to CFO for the mobile phone giant’s Vouchercloud project and finally head of integration.
Announcing Jankovic’s appointment, Dennys said: “As Game Lounge enters its next phase of growth, our focus is shifting towards becoming a scalable, tech-first data platform.
“Vlad is the perfect architect for this transformation. His unique blend of operational rigour, proven success in venture building and M&A experience makes him an invaluable asset.
“Vlad understands exactly what is required to decouple revenue growth from headcount. I am thrilled to welcome him permanently to the team.”
Jankovic added: “I am excited to take on this role at such a critical inflection point for Game Lounge.
