Game Lounge CEO Richard Dennys has stepped down from his position with the affiliate after two years in the role.
The affiliate’s founder, Jonas Cederholm, will take on the interim CEO role while the Malta-based company sources a new boss.
Dennys joined the Malta-based firm in February 2024 from Webgains, where he had served as CEO from September 2016 until December 2023.
Dennys replaced Cederholm as CEO when he joined the business, with the latter stepping up to the board.
During his time as CEO, Game Lounge snapped up Dutch affiliate site Meneer Casino in November 2024.
Under Dennys leadership, Game Lounge shot up the EGR Power Affiliates ranking in 2025, rising from 22nd to 13th.
The departing CEO revamped the affiliate’s senior team, including promoting data head Keith Cassar to chief technology officer and naming Fredrik Langeland as chief revenue officer.
In December, the firm hired Vlad Jankovic as its new chief strategy and transformation officer.

The exec moved into the newly created role after serving as a consultant to Game Lounge previously.
Game Lounge runs more than 130 affiliate sites across the globe.
Speaking on his departure, Dennys said: “After an intense and rewarding chapter, today [24 March] I have stepped down from my role as CEO of Game Lounge.
“Over the past two years, we’ve reshaped the business around its core strengths, expanded into new markets, and built a strong foundation for the future.
“I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful to have worked with such a talented and committed team across multiple countries.
“To everyone at Game Lounge; thank you. It’s been a privilege to be part of the journey. Keep pushing, keep questioning and never stop learning.
“This feels like the right moment for me to take a step back and focus on what comes next.
“I’ll be spending some time over the coming months with family and friends, while also exploring a small number of opportunities at board and advisory level, alongside potential investments.”
