Two former STS executives have partnered to form Gamblitude, an AI supplier designed to streamline the data management process for operators.
Wojtek Sznapka, who will serve as CEO, and his co-founder, Piotr Cerlak, boast more than two decades of industry experience between them.
Sznapka previously held the role of STS’ chief technology officer from June 2018 until last month.
Cerlak, who also worked for the Polish operator, departed in May after more the five years of service, which culminated in his position as chief sportsbook officer.
Speaking to EGR, the pair shed light on their startup, a next-generation AI-powered service that aims to eradicate potential data struggles endured by operators.
Such struggles, according to Cerlak, can hinder a company’s development across multiple KPIs, including retention, acquisition, margin trading and risk management.
Gamblitude aims to allow operators to access data, either via an AI agent or “intuitive tools”, to help speed up workflows and processes.
Currently, Sznapka and Cerlak make up the entirety of the Gamblitude operation, which is bootstrapped and gearing up for a minimum viable product (MVP) launch within the next month.
However, Sznapka left the door ajar for future capital from additional investors, adding that the duo are adopting a wait and see approach before looking for external investment.
In terms of how Gamblitude’s services can be deployed from an operator perspective, Cerlak explained: “It’s AI that is able to perform any task at any given moment and as often as you ask it to.
“You can configure a task for the AI to provide you the three most important events by stakes every day at 6pm, so that as a business owner, you know which results you want to follow, because usually your final margin and the business results depend on these events.
“You can ask it to look for an anomaly in data. If your acquisition rate is dropping more than 20%, ‘let me know if my number of weekly active clients is dropping because I need to look into this’, you can even ask it to give you possible reasons as to why it is happening.”
Cerlak added that those who are unable to understand the structured query language (SQL) found in most databases have to rely on someone else to decipher it, a source of frustration and therefore inspiration behind Gamblitude’s formation.
He said: “If you don’t know SQL, you need to count on somebody else, and we would like to change that, so we’ve designed a unique flow where you can interact with data on your own, via connecting database clients to our tool, and then you can configure everything yourself, without writing any line of code.”
EGR understands while there are no confirmed operator partnerships at this stage, Gamblitude’s hunt for its first clients is expected to begin in the near future.
Sznapka added the duo want to apply more industry-specific models to its tool as part of phase two, with revenue predictions and margin simulators touted as potential additions.
He said: “We want to build the scale, we want to engage more customers, lower the onboarding for them, and have more integration with platforms which will make onboarding new operators even easier. For the next few months, we want to have it as complete as possible with as little onboarding time as humanly possible.”
