2mee has appointed former Entain head Jez White to be its new managing director as part of move to expand into compliance.
White, Entain’s former director of player protection systems and analytics, has been most recently been working with BetComply as an adviser.
His appointment comes as the supplier penned a deal with Mindway AI to replace its human messaging, delivered by virtual versions of people, into its toolkit.
The firm works with BetVictor and Sky Bet, but also has partners from outside of the industry, such as hummel.
Racing TV and Racing and Sports are also partnered with the Jersey-based business.
While White comes onboard as managing director, James Riley will remain as CEO of the group.
He will continue to oversee overall group strategy and guide the wider business direction.
A 2mee statement read: “As regulation continues to evolve, operators are under increasing pressure to not only identify risk, but to clearly demonstrate how they communicate with vulnerable and high-risk customers.
“Jez’s experience at the sharp end of regulation makes him uniquely placed to help 2mee support operators in turning policy into practical, auditable action within the customer journey.
“His appointment marks an important step in 2mee’s mission to help brands evidence meaningful, compliant communication, protecting both customers and businesses.”
White added: “I’m delighted to have joined 2mee as managing director and am looking forward to helping realise what I see as significant potential for the business, particularly within igaming compliance.
“2mee has been delivering customer-experience messaging across gaming and other sectors for some time, and is now extending that capability into compliance messaging, where I believe there is a clear need for.”
