Flutter Entertainment has announced the launch of its Betfair brand’s prediction market product called Betfair Predicts.
The prediction platform will operate under Betfair’s current UK license and will be an expanded model of the Betfair Exchange. Players will get to trade on real-world outcomes connected to sports, politics, and entertainment by choosing Yes or No options based on existing exchange liquidity.
Currently, the platform has only been launched in a beta phase, which means it will be accessible to a selected group of people who have been invited to participate in a trial mode of Betfair Predicts.
Flutter and Betfair have shown confidence in the product, stressing that interest in prediction markets has been rising in the UK. Betfair believes its services as an exchange betting operator place it in a strong position to take advantage of the expanding prediction markets sector. The operator also pointed to the success of its exchange product, highlighting the 10% growth in 2025.
A Betfair spokesperson shared:
“We’re constantly testing new innovations, and Betfair Predicts is an example of this work. This is a beta product that will evolve based on customer feedback.”
Additionally, in 2025, Betfair offered technical expertise during the launch of Flutter-owned FanDuel’s FanDuel Predicts.
