FanDuel has officially opened its new Los Angeles office in Beverley Hills, marking the operator’s second new office of 2025.
Despite the fact that LA does not yet boast legalised sports betting, the firm has established a base of operations in the state, spending heavily to do so in the process.
Earlier this year, reports from real estate trade media claimed the Flutter-owned company spent $71m (£53m) on its new Beverley Hills hub.
The 50,200 sq ft building will host just under 200 employees, as well as provide support for the 400 FanDuel staff located across greater Los Angeles.
The Wilshire Boulevard location was reportedly sold at a rate of $1,410 per square foot, four times higher than the going rate for commercial real estate in the greater Los Angeles area.
FanDuel, which runs its TVG cable channel from Los Angeles, is headquartered in New York but has established offices in New Jersey, Oregon, Florida, Nevada and Georgia.
Last week, FanDuel CEO Amy Howe cut the ribbon to officially open the new office space, before taking to LinkedIn to herald the new location as one designed to “foster innovation and collaboration.”
She wrote: “A new chapter begins for our team in Los Angeles. I’m proud to officially announce the opening of FanDuel’s new office.
“This is a significant milestone that reflects our business growth and, more importantly, our commitment to our people and our presence in California.”
Beverley Hills mayor Sharona R. Nazarian was also in attendance for the office opening, alongside other local officials.
Ryne Raymond, FanDuel’s global director of workspace, shed further light on features found in the operator’s new location.
“I’m thrilled to open our second new office of 2025. This week, our CEO Amy Howe and local leaders cut the ribbon on our second location in the greater Los Angeles area,” he wrote.
“The space features state-of-the-art workstations, flexible areas and an outdoor patio to soak in the California sun. Our presence in LA dates back over 25 years, and we are excited to expand in sunny southern California.”
Prior to the Los Angeles expansion, FanDuel opened a new base in New Jersey last month.
Its 12,000 sq ft Garden State office building includes views of the Hudson River, as well as a golf simulator and a new social hub for the 400 employees working out of the location.
The business is also planning on moving into a fresh New York headquarters later this year.
