Super Technologies has announced a raft of C-suite appointments, including a new CFO, chief product officer and chief strategy officer, EGR can exclusively reveal.
The additions come after Super rebranded from Superbet last year. The operator still runs Superbet as its B2C platform.
Firstly, former Santander chief of staff and group strategy head Olatz Urroz has joined as CFO.
Urroz will replace Glyn Hughes in the role. Hughes had served as the finance chief since August 2023.
He will now focus on Hellen’s Rock Capital, which is a shareholder in Super, where he serves as CEO.
The second hire has seen former Amazon executive Andrew Watts brought in as chief product officer.
Watts most recently served as senior vice-president of product management at fashion and lifestyle platform Zalando.
He replaces Andrei Dușu, who departed the Bucharest-based business in January to join AI-powered video developer Backlight.
Super said Watts would focus on “product strategy and execution”, as well as lead on the development of “platform and customer experience innovation”.
Ex-Google and McKinsey exec Mina Dimitrova has also joined the business, taking on the role of chief strategy officer.
Dimitrova, who spent nine years with the search giant, will focus on multiple business departments, including M&A opportunities, AI and organic market expansion.
Finally, Super has appointed Netflix chief HR officer Sergio Ezama as a board member and chair of the remuneration committee.
Ezama worked at Netflix since September 2021 and previously served as global chief talent officer at PepsiCo.
The flurry of executive changes come as co-founder Sacha Dragic took up the sole CEO role on 1 January 2026.
Dragic had been serving as co-CEO alongside Jimmy Maymann after he returned to the C-suite in September 2024.
Dragic had previously stepped down as CEO in 2024 and was replaced by Johnny Hartnett.
Dragic, Maymann and Hartnett all sit on the operator’s board, which is chaired by former Deezer exec Hans-Holger Albrecht.
Earlier this year, Super snapped up fellow Romanian operator Maxbet in its first M&A move since 2021.
The operator also launched in Greece and penned a series of high-profile sponsorships with local football clubs.
In February 2025, Super agreed a new €1.3bn refinancing agreement with investment management giant Blackstone.
As well as operating in Romania and Greece, Superbet is live in Belgium, Brazil, Poland and Serbia.
