Former Catena Media CEO Michael Daly has joined Aristocrat as senior vice-president of business development and strategic execution.
Daly, who is based out of Las Vegas, joined the supplier after a stint as COO at Marker Trax, a fintech firm operating in the land-based and online gambling space.
Prior to his return to full-time work, Daly had a spell in consultancy, having left Catena Media in February 2024.
He had served as the affiliate’s CEO since March 2021, originally joining the Malta-based company in November 2018 as general manager for the Americas.
In April 2020, Daly was named vice-president of North America.
He resigned as CEO with immediate effect in February 2024 following discussions with the board, with Pierre Cadena stepping in as interim boss.
Catena Media went on to add former Kindred Group exec Manuel Stan as CEO in the summer of 2024, with Cadena serving as COO.
Daly oversaw a shift to a North America-focused business model during his time in the hotseat, including the sale of AskGamblers and SuperScommesse.
Daly’s appointment at Aristocrat comes after the business named Dylan Slaney as its new online CEO, with the former Light & Wonder exec due to start on 3 November.
Barry French was also appointed as Aristocrat’s chief corporate affairs and marketing officer earlier this month.
