EveryMatrix has acquired Portugal-based Goma Gaming to boost the supplier’s frontend development capabilities.
Goma, described as a “UX specialist” by EveryMatrix, began servicing the betting industry 20 years ago.
The firm counts the likes of Betsson, Bally’s and DAZN Bet as operator partners.
EveryMatrix said the Goma team would operate as a “standalone unit” within the business, with the existing frontend division operating side by side.
Goma Gaming’s player experience platform has generated higher retention and longer engagement with an average 30% margin uplift, according to EveryMatrix.
Other acquisitions by EveryMatrix this year included smaller supplier FSB Technology in June and Stockholm-based studio Fantasma Games in October.
The supplier’s most recent financial results show net revenue and EBITDA growths of 66% and 71% year on year, respectively.
Earlier this month, EveryMatrix unveiled a new leadership setup as CEO Ebbe Groes brought his brother Jonas on board as co-CEO.
Ebbe Groes, EveryMatrix CEO, said: “Our frontend development has made huge strides, creating bespoke sites and features for some of our largest customers such as bet-at-home and the Hungarian Lottery.
“The addition of Goma means we will immediately have more frontend firepower to deploy and deliver to both existing and new sports and casino turnkey customers who require differentiation that moves the dial when it comes to higher retention, engagement, margin and revenues.
“I’d like to welcome Andrew and his team and look forward to having them with us to further accelerate our rapid business growth.”
Andrew Brown, Goma Gaming CEO, added: “We’ve made great progress developing Goma in the last five years, but joining the EveryMatrix Group now means we have greater resources to rapidly scale our capacity whenever it’s needed and to make an even bigger impact.
