The NFL has renewed its multi-year betting partnerships with DraftKings and FanDuel and named Fanatics Betting and Gaming (FBG) as a new official betting partner ahead of the 2026 season.
DraftKings and FanDuel initially became partners in 2021, while FBG’s agreement is an extension on its initial relationship with the NFL that included collectibles and official league merchandise.
DraftKings will also continue to be the NFL’s official Daily Fantasy Sports partner, while Fanatics is now its official online casino marketing partner.
The agreement will see the operator trio given the rights to “leverage NFL marks” in the sports betting category, promote both online and land-based sports betting and gain access to real-time, official play-by-play statistics.
Under the terms of the partnerships, Fanatics, DraftKings and FanDuel have agreed to adhere to the NFL’s core integrity policies and will collaborate by sharing intelligence, responsible gambling initiatives and advocacy efforts.
This means blocking bets that the NFL finds “objectionable”, such as wagers placed on officiating and injuries, and markets that can be known in advance or manipulated by a single person.
Stephanie Sherman, DraftKings chief marketing officer, said the extension allows the operator to give its customers “more ways to engage with every drive, play and moment as it happens”.
Christian Genetski, FanDuel president, commented that the NFL “has been an important partner in helping build a legal and regulated sports betting industry that puts fans and the integrity of the game at the centre” for the past five years.
Matt King, FBG CEO, added: “This deal underscores our vision for Fanatics as a true digital sports platform – a single destination where fans can bet, play and engage with the NFL all in one place, making the experience of being a fan better than ever.”
Elsewhere, BetMGM announced it has refreshed its sportsbook ahead of NFL kick-off, with updates including expanded cash out capabilities, advanced betting insights and a smoother bet builder experience.
Other additions include improved speed, stability and responsiveness across the sportsbook, a re-bet functionality to recreate previous bets and a centralised rewards hub.
Raymond Doyle, BetMGM senior vice-president of sports, said: “From faster performance and expanded live betting capabilities to new tools that help customers make informed decisions, these enhancements are designed to keep players connected to the action throughout every stage of the game.”
