Dabble has appointed ex-Ladbrokes Australia product manager Dave Walker as its first chief customer officer (CCO).
Walker joins the Australian operator from lottery supplier Jumbo Interactive Limited, where he spent two-and-a-half years as its group general manager since March 2024.
This was his second stint at the firm, having first joined in April 2020 as growth product manager before leaving for payments firm Paypa Plane in July 2021 to become head of product and COO.
Between March 2012 and August 2019, Walker held several positions at Ladbrokes Australia.
He originally joined the Entain-owned bookmaker as client services manager before moving up to product owner, product manager and finally principal product manager.
As CCO of Dabble, Walker will be tasked with focusing on customer engagement and experience.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn on Monday 28 September, Walker wrote: “Today was my first day as chief customer officer at Dabble.
“I’ve been welcomed with coffee, an onboarding guide (and a calendar full of 1:1s) worthy of an award, conversations with some outstanding people and an app that literally opens doors – goodbye swipe card.
“Safe to say we’re off to a cracking start.
“Looking forward to getting to know the global team and finding out what matters most to our people and customers.”
In August, Dabble co-founder Scott Hutchens stepped down from his role of chief technology officer, with the operator currently looking for a successor.
In January this year, the privately owned firm secured an online casino licence for the UK market as it looks to expand beyond sports betting in the market.
A month later, in February, Dabble rolled out its DFS product in Colorado, bringing the number of US states it operates in to 31.
