Comparasino launches streaming ad campaign in a “transformative step”

Comparasino has launched a three-month ad campaign on ITVX, as it looks to increase awareness of the brand’s platform.

The online casino comparison platform’s on-demand debut began on 14 April and will feature across ITV’s online arm’s prime-time programming and shows.

The 30-second ad starts with a slot machine on screen and a voiceover saying: “Trying to pick an online casino can be a real gamble. Don’t chance it, Comparasino it.”

The slot then shows three Comparasino logos, as the company name appears on screen and the voiceover explains what the platform is, showing people use it on their phones.

Telling viewers the platform allows people to compare licensed online casinos and offers all in one place, the campaign highlights that users will receive personalised matches.

Martyn Hannah, Comparasino co-founder and CEO, said: “Advertising on ITVX is a transformative step for us. For too long, the online casino search process has been a ‘one size fits all’ experience.

“Our mission is to humanise that journey by putting the player’s specific needs first.

“By launching this three-month campaign on a platform as prestigious as ITVX, we’re not just building brand awareness, we are showing the UK public that there is a smarter, safer and more tailored way to play.”

Comparisino’s platform uses its proprietary smart recommendation engine to suggest Gambling Commission-licensed casinos to players. 

Comparasino was founded by Martyn and Araminta Hannah and was granted the Comparasino trademark in November 2021. It soft launched in June 2023, before officially going live in October of that year.

In February 2024, the Leeds-based firm launched its blog “to help build trust between players and the brands they play at by letting you meet the people and businesses behind your casino experience”.
