Lebom has signed John Terry to an ambassadorial role with the company, with the former England captain also becoming an investor in the football score prediction platform.
The Chelsea legend has signed a three-year ambassadorial deal with the company, which coincides with the return of the Premier League on Friday 15 August.
As part of his role, Terry will share his weekly score predictions throughout the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Terry’s level of investment in the company has not been disclosed. The operator claimed the former defender would “work closely with Lebom on product development” as part of the relationship.
Terry made 492 Premier League appearances for Chelsea during his career, winning the competition five times.
He also won five FA Cups, three League Cups and a Champions League with the West London outfit before retiring with Aston Villa in 2018.
The defender also played 78 times for England between 2003 and 2012.
Launched in 2021, Lebom allows players to predict the results of the 10 weekly Premier League fixtures among small groups, with the ability to set a maximum stake of £50.
The app reached 65,000 active users last season, enjoying an 86% retention rate in the process.
The company launched its Lebom Universe feature in May, allowing users to opt into a global league for a fixed £2 entry fee to play against other players for the chance to win larger prizes.
Speaking to EGR in May, Lebom CEO and co-founder Chris Ricketts expressed the platform’s ambitions to quadruple its user base by the end of the 2025-26 season.
Reflecting on his new role, Terry said: “I’ve been playing Lebom with my family and close mates, and it’s honestly brought a whole new energy to the weekend’s football.
