Caesars Entertainment has opened pre-registration for Alberta residents as the province is preparing to launch its regulated market, where operators will be able to offer online sports betting and casino gaming.
On January 14, 2026, lawmakers announced that Alberta was preparing to launch a 2026 iGaming framework, marking an important expansion strategy in Canada’s digital gambling sector.
Now, early registrants and residents above 21 can pre-register to receive updates on Caesars’ launch of its three platforms, including Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino, as each platform will provide a digital experience specifically localized for Alberta’s market. The company added that players will be presented with beloved slot titles, table games, and live dealer games, and they will also get access to reliable technology and strong responsible gaming tools.
Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, stated:
“Opening pre‑registration is an important first step that allows players to prepare for launch while we finalize our plans to bring our full trifecta of platforms online in Alberta. We welcome the province’s continued progress toward a regulated online market and appreciate the Alberta iGaming Corporation’s work to support operators through this process.”
Alberta’s regulated online casino market will operate under Bill 48, with iGaming Alberta and the Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis Commission providing supervision. For Caesars, Alberta will become the sixth North American jurisdiction where the operator offers mobile app casino gaming and sports betting.
