BOYLE Sports has put pen to paper on a three-year agreement with the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL), which will see the operator become the title sponsor across men’s and women’s football in the country.
The deal will see the Dundalk-headquartered firm take the title rights to the BOYLE Sports Premiership, BOYLE Sports Championship and BOYLE Sports Women’s Premiership.
BOYLE Sports will also retain existing partnership rights including title sponsorship of the BOYLE Sports Women’s Cup.
The omnichannel operator takes over the role of title sponsor from Sports Direct, which will continue to serve as sponsor of the Women’s Premiership for the remainder of the 2026 season before transitioning to the NIFL’s official retail partner.
Sports Direct, which is owned by former Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley, secured the title rights back in 2023 on a three-year deal.
The Irish Cup will continue to be sponsored by Clearer Water and the Northern Ireland Football League Cup will retain BetMcLean as its title partner.
BOYLE Sports branding will feature across clubs’ playing kit, matchday environments, broadcast highlights, scoreboards, player of the game activations and further league content posted across social media platforms.
The deal builds on BOYLE Sports’ previous relationship with the body, having been its official betting partner since December 2025.
The agreement also represents a commercial milestone for the NIFL, as it becomes the league’s first partnership valued at more than £1m.
Under the terms of the partnership, BOYLE Sports will launch a new responsible gambling initiative with NIFL clubs, using matchday and digital platforms to promote safer gambling and encourage conversation around the topic.
Vlad Kaltenieks, BOYLE Sports CEO, said: “Football in Northern Ireland has real momentum and we’re proud to deepen our partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League at such an important time for the league.
“Becoming title partner across the Premiership, Championship and Women’s Premiership reflects our belief in the clubs, supporters and communities that make the game so strong.
“This partnership gives us the opportunity to support that growth, enhance fan experience and use our platform to positively engage with fans and the wider football community.”
Gerard Lawlor, NIFL CEO, added: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with BOYLE Sports through this landmark title partnership.
“This is a major commercial moment for NIFL and reflects the growing strength and ambition of our competitions. BOYLE Sports has already shown real commitment to football in Northern Ireland, and this agreement will deliver meaningful value across our clubs, competitions and communities.”
Earlier this month, BOYLE Sports was announced as the latest member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
The firm also enlisted TNT Sports presenter and talkSPORT host Olivia Buzaglo as a new football ambassador, in addition to announcing a collaboration with YouTuber Mark Goldbridge during the World Cup.
The operator remains the principal partner of West Ham United, with the east London club having been relegated to the Championship last season.
Championship clubs are still permitted to have front-of-shirt gambling sponsors. From next season, Premier League clubs have agreed to voluntarily ban those types of deals, although sleeve and in-stadia commercial agreements can still be penned.
