Blueprint Gaming continues to solidify its position as a pioneer in the gaming industry with its innovative jackpot systems. In June, they introduced Rapid Fire Jackpots, complementing their well-known Jackpot King progressive system. Jo Purvis from Blueprint Gaming shares insights with CasinoBeats about the systems’ success in 2024 and what lies ahead.
**CasinoBeats: Rapid Fire Jackpots was launched by Blueprint Gaming in June. What effect has it had on the games since then?**
**Jo Purvis:** This summer, we launched Rapid Fire Jackpots (RFJ) alongside our esteemed Jackpot King system. It targets players who feel that jackpots are out of reach by offering more frequent, exciting wins. Since its introduction, RFJ has enhanced the gaming experience across our popular titles. We’ve paid out an impressive £4.5 million globally, significantly impacting markets like Canada, Denmark, Brazil, and the UK. Notably, *Majestic Fury* leads in both PPU and SPU metrics among our titles released since January 2023, despite only launching in August 2024. Similarly, *King Kong Cash DJ Prime 8*, the first RFJ game, ranks high in these metrics, with gameplay metrics outperforming the non-RFJ version by threefold.
**CB: It’s been eight years since the debut of Jackpot King. How has it maintained its appeal in the gaming world?**
**JP:** Our focus has always been on innovation and player engagement. Jackpot King was created to enhance players’ chances of winning large payouts, and we’ve consistently achieved this with average bets in the system yielding significant returns. Since its release in 2016, Jackpot King has made 31 millionaires, distributing almost £194 million across 60+ games in the UK. Incorporating Jackpot King into new games adds a unique dimension, proving its enduring allure. For example, *Deal or No Deal: Banker’s Boost* recently delivered a win of nearly £4.5 million from just a £2 bet, exemplifying the system’s impact.
**CB: With both jackpot systems available, do players prefer smaller, frequent wins, or are they drawn to the allure of bigger jackpots? Is there a clear preference?**
**JP:** Our goal with RFJ was to appeal to a broader audience by combining both systems, and the results have been promising. For instance, introducing RFJ in *King Kong Cash DJ Prime 8* led to tripling its plays, stakes, and GGR compared to its non-RFJ counterpart, indicating a clear demand for more frequent prizes. Nonetheless, Jackpot King remains integral to our strategy, consistently featuring in our top-performing titles and continuing to deliver substantial payouts, with *Deal or No Deal: Banker’s Boost* serving as proof.
**CB: How prominently will these mechanics feature in Blueprint’s plans for Q1 2025? Will you focus on new markets or expanding in current ones?**
**JP:** We have exciting expansions planned for Q1 2025, introducing new titles featuring both mechanics, such as *King Kong Cash: Even Bigger Bananas 2* and *The Goonies Megaways*. Strengthening our established presence in the UK and international markets like Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, and Denmark is crucial, but we’re also exploring new territories that may suit our offerings. Stay tuned for major developments in 2025!
