Betway Scores nets Fabrizio Romano as first global ambassador

Betway Scores has signed leading Italian football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano as its first global ambassador.

Betway Scores is the live scores app operated by Betway, the sports betting and online casino brand owned by New York-listed Super Group.

The product provides live scores and delivers instant updates, statistics and match commentary for fans.

Romano will provide exclusive updates and insights for Betway Scores around the sport’s “biggest” stories, and his content will be platformed on the Betway Scores app and its official channels.

The Italian has almost 26 million followers on X and has become synonymous with his catchphrase ‘Here we go’, which he deploys when confirming a transfer story.

The agreement will bring “Betway Scores users closer to the action through his expert commentary”, the firm said.

Commenting on his appointment, Romano said: “I’m excited to be joining Betway Scores as a global ambassador.

“I look forward to sharing the latest football news and updates. I’m ready to bring interesting insights to Betway Scores users throughout the year.”

A Betway Scores spokesperson added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Fabrizio as our first-ever global ambassador.

“His reputation for accurate information from the football world is second to none. He’ll bring tremendous value to our users.”

Last week, Betway announced ex-Arsenal and Barcelona forward Thierry Henry as its latest brand ambassador.

Until recently, Betway served as West Ham United’s front-of-shirt sponsor but was replaced by BoyleSports this summer.
