BetMGM has named Casey Hurbis, a veteran executive from Rocket Mortgage and Fiat Chrysler, as their new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Hurbis joins BetMGM with a robust marketing career spanning three decades across various sectors. The company praises his expertise in leading innovative and impactful strategies.

His most recent position was as the Senior Vice President of Brand Experiences and Strategic Partnerships at Rocket Mortgage, a role he assumed in March. Prior to this, he spent seven years as the CMO of the same company starting in April 2017.

During his tenure, Hurbis was instrumental in launching the PGA Tour’s Rocket Mortgage Classic golf tournament and directed Super Bowl ads that secured top rankings on *USA Today’s* ad meter for consecutive years.

Hurbis also dedicated six years to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where he took on multiple roles. He began as the Media, Social, and CRM Manager for the Ram Trucks brand in March 2011, then became the Head of Fiat Brand Communications for North America in August 2011. In November 2016, he combined this role with the Head of Retail Marketing position.

Furthermore, Hurbis serves as an advisory board member for Google and Brand Innovators, is a committee board member for the Detroit Metro Sports Commission, and acts as an executive mentor at *Adweek*.

BetMGM announced that Hurbis will report to Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost, working primarily out of Detroit but also spending time at BetMGM’s New Jersey headquarters.

In his new role at BetMGM, Hurbis will re-engage with the creative agency Highdive, which he partnered with for three successful Super Bowl campaigns while at Rocket Mortgage.

Ahead of the NFL season, BetMGM launched a new television advertisement featuring brand ambassador Jamie Foxx, and it also entered a collaboration with US media giant Gannett.

This year, the joint venture by Entain and MGM Resorts International has secured partnerships with X, formerly known as Twitter, as the official live odds sports betting partner. It has also allied with the Associated Press as its official odds provider and the MLB for the upcoming 2024 playoffs.

Prevost commented: “Building BetMGM from scratch into a leading brand in the sports betting and igaming industry has been a remarkable achievement, all thanks to our team’s unwavering dedication. Having a visionary leader like Casey Hurbis join us bolsters our brand’s strength.”

Expressing his enthusiasm about his new role, Hurbis stated: “Sports betting is among the most competitive and swiftly evolving sectors in marketing, and joining BetMGM at this exciting juncture is a privilege. BetMGM is a brand with tremendous momentum, supported by a team that’s reshaping audience engagement and entertainment. I’m eager to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation to not only draw in new audiences but also enhance experiences for our dedicated players.”
