Betano seals three-year sponsorship deal with Bayern Munich

Betano has penned a three-year sponsorship agreement with German football club Bayern Munich to become an official partner of the Bavarian giants.

The Kaizen Gaming brand will be one of Bayern’s platinum partners, joining a list of sponsors that includes retail trading platform Bitpanda, local brewery Paulaner and Visit Rwanda.      

The deal will come into effect before the start of the 2025-26 campaign and run through to the end of the 2027-28 season.

Bayern were previously sponsored by Germany- and Austria-facing Tipico. The pair had held a commercial relationship since 2015, with the agreement coming to a close this year.

The Bundesliga champions count regional gambling sponsorships with 188BET (Asia) and VERSUSbet (Mexico) in its roster, too.

Betano’s sponsorship of Bayern follows a consistent blueprint of extensive marketing efforts to drive brand awareness.

In the last two months, the operator has secured front-of-shirt sponsorships with Argentina’s River Plate and Danish side Brøndby IF.

The firm is also a regional sponsor in Latam for the FIFA Club World Cup and was named as an official sponsor for this year’s women’s Copa América in Ecuador.

Earlier this week, Daskalakis announced he would be stepping down as the CEO of Stoiximan, having co-founded the company back in 2012.
