Betano scores Argentina national football team sponsorship deal

Betano has been named as an official regional sponsor of the Argentinian national football team, justsix weeks before the World Cup kicks off.

The sponsorship includes local campaigns featuring the brand’s tagline “Confiá”, which means ‘trust’ in Spanish, across digital media, TV and out-of-home advertising.

Last year Kaizen Gaming-owned Betano struck partnership deals with the FIFA Club World Cup, Bayern Munich and top Argentine football club River Plate, consistent with the brand’s extensive football marketing strategy.

Argentina are the reigning World Cup champions, with their 2022 victory in the final over France in Qatar taking their tally to three.

Structured as a federal republic, Argentina comprises 23 provinces, the vast majority of which now permit online gambling.

Betano, which entered the South American country in 2024, is licensed in Buenos Aires Provice and Mendoza. 

A spokesperson for Betano said: “Football is a global language, and few teams and countries embody its passion and legacy like Argentina.

“Ahead of what promises to be a thrilling tournament, Kaizen Gaming remains focused on expanding its international reach, investing in strategic partnerships and building meaningful connections with fans worldwide.”

Kaizen Gaming recently announced the acquisition of AI sports trading and analytics firm GamepIAI for an undisclosed fee.

The provider’s features will be used to enhance risk managementand improve user experience, Kaizen said.
