The new Premier League season kicks off Friday when Arsenal hosts Coventry City at Emirates Stadium in London.

Arsenal is the defending Premier League champion, and Coventry City FC is back at the top level for the first time in 25 years. The Gunners and Sky Blues, respectively, enter the match at different ends of the competitive spectrum.

As such, the odds offered at Kalshi tilt heavily towards Arsenal.

Here are Arsenal vs. Coventry City odds on Kalshi:

Outcome Prediction Odds American Odds
Arsenal (moneyline in regulation) 84% -525
Coventry City (moneyline in regulation) 6% +1567
Draw in regulation 12% +733
Arsenal -1.5 goals 62% -163
Arsenal 8+ corners 49% +104

Arsenal vs. Coventry City Best Bet on the Spread

Gunners -1.5 Goals (-163)

Arsenal is the betting favorite to repeat as Premier League champions. The Gunners will be without a key piece in William Saliba. The talented center back hurt his back in the World Cup while playing for France. Saliba is expected to miss several months of action.

Manager Mikel Arteta does have most of his core group intact. Viktor Gyokeres, who returned to Arsenal despite trade rumors during the offseason, led the Gunners with 14 goals.

Gyokeres is available to play tomorrow, but will reportedly come off the bench, with Kai Havertz getting the start (see more on him below).

Bukayo Saka, who is projected to start along Havertz on the front line, is another threat to score after amassing seven goals last season.

Coventry City is already up against it, but making matters worse is the absence of Haji Wright (quad). He led the Sky Blues with 17 goals last year en route to the EFL title.

Pick: Arsenal 3, Coventry City 0

Best Arsenal vs. Coventry City Player Prop

Kai Havertz OVER 0.5 Goals (+120)

Havertz found the back of the net in Arsenal’s recent 3-0 win over Manchester City. The Gunners cruised to a shutout victory to win the Community Shield in the prelude to their Premier League season.

Since joining Arsenal in 2023, Havertz has scored 43 goals in all competitions. This summer, Havertz led Germany in the World Cup with three goals, sharing the team lead with Deniz Undav.
