The Pools has continued its recent hiring spree, appointing former Entain and Midnite exec Caroline Newman as director of regulatory compliance.
Newman has over a decade of igaming compliance experience, including at Entain as head of anti-financial crime and money laundering reporting officer (MLRO) for UK & Ireland and four years with Midnite as head of compliance and MLRO.
She also held compliance roles with B2B suppliers, Playtech, Odobo and, most recently, Inspired Gaming.
Newman’s appointment follows the recent hire of former LeoVegas Group exec Joseph Carter-Bell as The Pools’ director of customer success and operations, as the operator looks to deliver on a major brand revamp unveiled last year.
Other key hires in the past 18 months include Gemma Strath-Billington as head of group marketing, Phillip Donegan as chief technology officer, Chris Williams as head of product and Matt Knowles as head of CRM.
